“The aim of art is to represent not the outward appearance of things, but their inward significance.” Aristotle
A little something about me
I’m a sculptural artist working in metal and wood, often times combining both materials into a single piece of art. I work in the abstract art style and enjoy blending the most basic designs elements – straight lines and circles. I have many creative influencers but the two that stand out most are M.C. Escher and Piet Mondrian. I create both small and large sculptures, often using the smaller works as studies for larger creations. I like my art to evoke a feeling/emotion while not dictating where it takes the viewer – it simply acts as a catalyst to take them somewhere they might not have been, seen or felt before. Enjoy!
