Exercise Wheel
This exercise wheel was designed and fabricated to facilitate the rehabilitation of a stroke victim’s hand and arm movements. The device would mount to a wall oriented to the patients shoulder height. Vertical slotted channels allowed the wheel apparatus to be repositioned providing a array of circular-motion exercises. The hand grasp fully articulates throughout the entire rotation of the wheel. The grasp is also removable so it can be remounted to larger or smaller wheels, again increasing the number of exercise configurations. The devise was fabricated from a combination of repurposed components and custom fabrication.
